Commercial and HOA tree service in Georgetown, with the code and the calendar handled
Property managers, HOA boards, church trustees and builders have the same problem homeowners do at fifty times the scale — plus Protected Tree rules that actually apply to them. We inventory, schedule on the oak wilt calendar, document and show up after the storm.
On commercial and multifamily land in Georgetown, UDC Chapter 8 means business. Any tree 12 inches or more in diameter — live oak, cedar elm, pecan, Shumard, bald cypress — is a Protected Tree, needs city approval before removal, and is mitigated inch for inch; at 26 inches a Heritage species is mitigated three to one; and pruning more than 30 percent of a Heritage crown counts as a removal. Landscape plans approved at site-plan stage lock trees in place. A property manager who lets a maintenance crew take out a "dead" 14-inch pecan without a certified arborist's determination can end up owing the city mitigation, and boards have found that out the expensive way.
We work for HOAs and community associations — Sun City's is the biggest, but Wolf Ranch, Teravista, Berry Creek, Rancho Sienna and Parkside on the River all have common-area trees and strict standards — and for the apartment complexes, office parks, churches, retail centers and schools along Williams Drive, Austin Avenue, University Avenue and the I-35 frontage. A typical engagement starts with a tree inventory by our ISA Certified Arborist: every tree mapped, measured, assessed and flagged Protected or Heritage, with a three-year pruning schedule built around the oak wilt window. From there we do the scheduled pruning, the removals with permits, the ball moss cleaning the CA wants done, and the storm response — with photos and invoices that satisfy an insurer and a board.

Questions we get about commercial & hoa tree service
Do commercial properties in Georgetown need a permit to remove trees?
Yes, for any Protected Tree — 12 inches DBH or more, most species — and any Heritage Tree at 26 inches, under UDC Section 8.02.030. Removal is mitigated one inch for one, two to one for a non-Heritage species over 26 inches, and three to one for Heritage Trees, by replanting, credit for preserved trees, or a fee per inch set by council resolution. A dead or fatally diseased tree confirmed by a certified arborist is exempt from mitigation; we write that letter.
Can you handle Sun City's requirements?
Sun City is our largest HOA market. We know the Community Association's landscape standards, its review process for tree removals on private lots and the common-area contract expectations, and we coordinate crane days and street work with the CA.
Do you offer storm-priority agreements?
Yes. A retainer puts your property at the front of our dispatch after ice, wind or a tornado, with a pre-agreed rate schedule so nobody is negotiating at 6 AM after the storm.
Are you insured for commercial work?
General liability and workers' compensation written for tree work, with certificates naming your association or company on file before we start, plus auto coverage on every truck and crane.
Can you work at night or on weekends to avoid disturbing tenants?
For retail centers and apartments, yes — parking-lot pruning is often a Sunday morning job. Chippers are loud; we plan the schedule with you.
